Accellera Systems Initiative Announces "Accellera Systems Initiative Day" at Its 2012 Design and Verification Conference and Exhibition (DVCon)
Sessions on Monday, February 27, 2012 at the DoubleTree Hotel, San Jose, Calif. focus on EDA & IP standards
San Jose, California, USA, 7 February 2012 - Accellera Systems Initiative announced today that it has put together a program of events for its "Accellera Systems Initiative Day" at its Design and Verification Conference and Exhibition (DVCon) on Monday, February 27, 2012. The sessions cover the latest developments related to the organization's EDA and IP standards.
Accellera Systems Initiative's DVCon is the premier conference for functional electronic design and verification, focused on sharing information about technology, techniques, standards and methods.
"Accellera Systems Initiative Day focuses on providing in depth knowledge for our emerging and established standards to our user community," remarked Shishpal Rawat, Accellera Systems Initiative chair. "We are hosting a forum for SystemC users and conducting four tutorials on standards with sessions running concurrently throughout the day. We will also host an interactive dialogue with users to discuss What will success for the Accellera Systems Initiative look like? during the lunch break."

In December 2011, Accellera and the Open SystemC Initiative (OSCI) merged to form Accellera Systems Initiative.
